Frequently asked questions

 

SHIPPING POLICY, IMPORT TAXES & SHIPPING INSURANCE

All shipping costs are included worldwide. Standard shipping includes bubble wrap protection of the artwork and will be shipped in a double walled cardboard box. You will receive an email with a tracking number and you will need to sign for delivery. 

Please note the following -

  • Some countries charge an import tax on purchases. These taxes and charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • Shipping and artwork insurance can be arranged for purchased artworks at an additional cost.

  • Timber framed shipping boxes can also be arranged at an additional cost

  • Please allow two weeks for shipping of artwork. This may take longer at busy times, such as Christmas.

FRAMING
Artwork is unframed unless indicated. I do no offer a framing service.

Please note some art pieces are already framed and this can be seen in the description in the art store. Please note that some photographs may use frames to display how the art work would look in an in situ setting, but a frame is not included.  If you do plan on framing your purchase I recommend you do not order frames until you receive your artwork to ensure it fits.

PAYMENT

Payment will only be received through the website art store (www.katjawittmer.com) using either PayPal or credit card payment facility. Artwork shipping will be arranged after full payment of associated costs.

POLICY ON RETURNS /REFUNDS

I want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me  at info@katjawittmer.com and include your order number, payment confirmation and a brief description of your concern. I will contact you to see how I can help. Certainly, if you are not happy with your purchase I offer a 30 day (from date of shipping receipt) return and refund guarantee.

If artwork needs to be returned, the cost of shipping is at the cost of the buyer. 

A refund will be issued after receipt of the returned artwork in pristine condition. There is a 10% restocking fee that is applied for any orders cancelled or returned.

 

GIFT VOUCHERS WORK

Coming soon. I am currently working on Gift vouchers which make a great gift.  You'll receive an email with a unique code for the value of the voucher you purchased. You can either print the e-voucher or email it to the recipient. Gift vouchers never expire and can be used towards the purchase of any art piece.
